Personality:

Easily annoyed. Overly cheerful and persistent people annoy him, especially when its him they're pestering. He'll lash out if he is pissed enough.
Not really open and likes to keep to himself, he's not really keen on having anyone close to him since he thinks they're all gonna leave in the end.
Childishly stubborn. Having never really grown up from this, he's stubborn about the most simplest of things, such as his eating habits which include him not eating vegetables which he gets annoyed at his sister when she makes him eat them.
Ignorant of a lot of things, at times he may seem rather cruel and insensitive, but really? He doesn't even notice these things until someone points them out.
Protective. He's very protective of his sister since she's the only family he has left, and also partly because of the guilt he feels for neglecting and ignoring her when they were younger.
Emotionally awkward. He's not very sure of a lot of things and doesn't really respond to them well, he's still a confused little kid at heart and is usually confused about his emotions.
Perfectionist. He will go on for days without resting or eating just so he'll perfect his act. He practically never slacks off when it comes to his diabolo juggling and can usually be spotted by a secluded area practicing.
Blunt. He doesn't like to beat around the bush and goes straight to the point.
Playful. Once you get to know him, he'll start opening himself and showing his even more childish side.

Bio:

Alistair was born in the country up until his parents died when he was eight. He and his sister were then adopted by their aunt and uncle. They took care of them properly however they were rather strict. Alistair never really appreciated this due to the fact that he thought they were trying to replace his parents. Alistair never truly got along with them because they critisized him for practically everything he did and this resulted in him growing to be rather rebellious.

Despite what his aunt and uncle wanted he still worked to perfect his diabolo skills. He began to perform in the streets where he met others that encouraged his deliquent behavior, even convincing him to dye the tips of his hair crimson red. He even took up breakdancing and hiphop.

He never really got along with his sister back then. He thought of her as annoying and disliked her even more when it seemed to him that she accepted their relatives as her new parents, it never crossed his mind that she probably didn't even remember their parents since she was only five then.

At the age of fifteen getting sick of his relatives' controlling ways, he heard that there was a circus in town and ran away, unknowingly dragging his sister with him on the way. Upon finding out that his sister had followed him, Alistair slowly started to feel guilty about the things he did to her in the past and started warming up to her to the point of being overly protective of her.

He started to teach his sister diabolo right after he noticed her growing interest in the act. It wasn't until five years later that he and his sister did their first diabolo act together. However, something went wrong and their star lion was set loose and then chaos happened. Because of this the circus was shut down and he and his sister were left homeless.

Five months later he got word from his sister that the Cirque du Papillon was in town and pleaded for him to take her there. He agreed and took her to the show. Impressed by the acts, he went to ask the ring leader if he and his sister could join, partly because he missed belonging in a circus and partly because of his sister.
